Re: Solenoid Valves

1) You can check our prototypes on the Prototype blog: http://oxygenator.geprojects.tech/index.php/sample-page/setup/prototype-blog/. It is possible to run a 2 column setup with 2 solenoid valves + 3 needle valves. 2) As the pressures required are not that high (3-4 bars), the valves do not have to ...

Re: Oxygen generation fluctuation

Hi Suijt, awesome to see that you were able to reproduce our system! Are you using an oxygen tank after the two zeolite columns to have an even production flow? Do you have a drying column installed before the zeolite columns? It could be that the air where you live is more humid than here in Europe...

Re: Temperature

Hi Pietr, Good to hear that you are starting out on this project! We have not looked into the temperature dependence as we consider ambient conditions for simplicity. However I found a scientific paper, which describes the effects of working at higher temperatures at the feed (~60°C). They claim tha...

Re: required pressure

If someone is going to buy air compressor for 130$, I think it will be much better to just buy oxygen concentrator unit at that price , for example: https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/15-lpm-electric-oxygen-machine-portable_60759895360.html?spm=a2700.galleryofferlist.0.0.1a7149d9I8XCrv&s=p ...

Re: Is desiccant required?

Thanks again Ahmed for your valuable inputs! I'll make sure that my Email is on the website for future issues. During lockdown in Switzerland, we were 3 people working almost full time on this project, now we are again occupied with our other projects. That's why is was calmer lately on the website....

Re: Zeolite

Hi, We're trying to build your system and wondering where we can obtain zeolite of an appropriate quality? We obtained some what we think is 13X, but it does not seem to be concentrating Oxygen and we think it is more than likely an issue with the material (as we have set up the same as you have). ...

Re: Zeolite

Hello, I build a 2 tower psa for oxygen concentration with in each tower 2 kg of normal 13X, As i am still experimenting with timing, equalising valve etc i do not have reached maximal results. Until now i reached 55% oxygen at 10 l/min but it must be possible to do better, Hi! 55% at 10l/min is al...

Re: oxygen measurement

Hi! Sorry for taking so long to respond:) This is indeed interesting, we have also thought about more inexpensive ways of quantifying O2. We are testing currently the use of oxygen sensors as used in cars to determine the oxygen content in the exhaust. The glowing woodstick is awesome too, bringing ...

Re: Compressor

Hi GM5,

probably to make it work with these pumps, you'd have to connect multiple pumps in parallel to achieve useful oxygen production. We have seen in commercial products that some use 4 smaller pumps similar to this one to reach 1 L/min of 90%.
